 Skin Needling is a minimally invasive, advanced skin rejuvenation treatment suitable for all skin types. It is a procedure used to reduce the visible signs of ageing and the appearance of acne scarring which will also improve skin texture and tone. Essentially it provides an overall rejuvenation of the skin and brings many benefits. The procedure is sometimes referred to as meso needling or micro needling and is also known as collagen induction therapy. 

At Dermaluxe Beauty we use SkinPen for skin needling and combine this with our PRP treatment. The PRP serum is rubbed into the skin post skin needling, helping to deliver the PRP into the deeper layers of the skin.

The skin needling causes micro trauma wounds to the skin. The micro trauma caused from the needling stimulates an immune response through inflammation to repair the damaged tissue and outer skin layer, helping to improve your skins collagen and elastin. This together with other treatments offered at Dermaluxe Beauty such as PRP, Bio remodelling and PDO threads will enhance your skins integrity naturally, producing long lasting results. 

 PRP is a facial rejuvenation treatment where a small amount of blood is drawn from the client, spun in a centrifuge for five minutes and then reinjected into the client’s specific area of concern (hence why many refer to it as the ‘vampire facial’).  

When the blood is spun, it separates the plasma form the other blood products. The plasma is rich in stem cells and growth factors and when injected back into the skin it accelerates the body’s natural production of collagen and elastin.  

It is extremely effective for that delicate under eye area where clients often notice signs of ageing first and where no laser can be used. It is also used to increase the structural integrity and health of the skin, particularly skin that has had more than its fair share of sun damage over the years.

Rejuran is now at Dermaluxe Beauty and is  an injectable skin rejuvenation treatment.

It’s a biostimulator, which is a type of treatment that works by triggering your skin’s own natural collagen production. It does this by stimulating the cells that produce collagen, called fibroblasts. This process promotes true hydration, and regeneration of collagen and elastin.
