ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

Laser vein removal at Dermaluxe Beauty offers a safe, non-invasive solution for unwanted vascular concerns. Using our state-of-the-art ND:YAG long-pulse laser, we can precisely target and treat:

Spider veins (small, thin blood vessels visible on the skin’s surface)
Facial telangiectasia (dilated capillaries often seen on the cheeks and nose)
Rosacea-related redness
Broken capillaries
Ecchymosis (residual bruising from injury or cosmetic treatments)
Cherry angiomas (small, red vascular growths)

The laser delivers controlled energy into the vessel, causing it to heat and collapse, after which the body naturally reabsorbs it. This results in reduced redness, clearer skin, and a more even complexion.

Most treatments are quick with minimal discomfort and little to no downtime. For optimal results, a series of sessions may be recommended, depending on the severity and location of the concern.

How does laser vein removal work?
Our ND:YAG long-pulse laser delivers precise light energy into the targeted blood vessel. The heat causes the vessel walls to collapse and seal shut, and your body naturally reabsorbs it over time. The surrounding skin remains unharmed.
We can treat: Spider veins Broken capillaries Facial telangiectasia Rosacea-related redness Ecchymosis (bruising) Cherry angiomas
Most clients describe the sensation as a quick, warm flick or snap against the skin. It’s generally very tolerable, and any discomfort is brief.
Many clients see improvement after just one session, but a series of 2–4 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart is often recommended for optimal results, depending on the size and number of vessels.
Downtime is minimal. You may notice temporary redness, mild swelling, or darkening of the treated vessels, which fade over several days. Most clients return to their usual activities straight away.
We use premium ND:YAG long-pulse laser technology for precision and safety, combined with a personalised, medical-grade approach. Our focus is on achieving natural, healthy-looking results with the highest standard of care.
Treated vessels are permanently collapsed, but new vessels can form over time due to genetics, lifestyle, or environmental factors. Maintenance treatments may be needed in the future.
Yes. The ND:YAG long-pulse laser is safe for all skin tones, but a personalised consultation is essential to ensure suitability and safety.
Yes. This treatment can significantly reduce redness and visible vessels caused by rosacea, but flare-ups may still occur and maintenance treatments may be needed.

To ensure the best results and minimise risks, follow these pre-care guidelines before your laser neocollagenesis, fractional laser and IPL session:

  • Avoid Sun Exposure: Stay out of the sun, tanning beds, and avoid self-tanning products for at least 2–4 weeks before treatment. Always use SPF 30+ on exposed areas..
  • Discontinue Irritating Skincare: Stop using retinoids, retinol, tretinoin, AHAs, BHAs, and exfoliants on the treatment area for 1 week before your session.
  • Remove All Products: Arrive with clean skin—no makeup, creams, lotions, deodorants, perfumes, or fake tan on the treatment area.
  • Inform Your Provider: Let your technician know if you have a history of cold sores (antiviral medication may be recommended), hyperpigmentation, or if you are taking any photosensitising medications (these should be stopped 3–14 days prior, as advised by your provider).
  • General Skin Care: Exfoliate and moisturise daily in the week leading up to your appointment, but not on the day of treatment.
  • Dress Appropriately: Wear clothing that allows easy access to the treatment area

What can I expect after my treatment?

Laser neocollagenesis is a gentle, non-invasive treatment with little to no downtime.  After your session, you may notice mild warmth or redness in the skin that usually settles within a few hours. A healthy glow—many clients say their skin feels smoother and looks more radiant within days

You’ll have an immediate darkening of the pigmentation (IPL), the skin will feel warm and tingly. This may last for 24 hours. Over the next week or so after the treatment, brown spots and pigmented areas will turn darker and/or appear more obvious as the body breaks down the melanin that has been released. The real results become evident after 2 weeks when you will visibly notice a reduction in pigmentation, redness and improvement in overall skin tone.

What precautions should I take pre and post?

There is no downtime to laser neocollagenesis or IPL and you can resume normal activities immediately. However you should avoid the following for 24 hours:

  • Strenuous exercise
  • Consumption of alcohol
  • Scrubbing, rubbing, shaving or waxing the treatment area.
  • Using medical grade vitamin A retinol

It is also recommended to avoid the following for two weeks:

  • Direct exposure to sun or uv light
  • Extended exposure to heat or freezing temperatures

Exposure to any of the above may cause temporary redness, swelling, and/or itching. If you experience crusting on the treatment area you can apply a rescue balm or ice pack to aid with healing.

We always recommend the use of sunscreen to prevent sun damage to the skin. Sunscreen with SPF 30 or above should be used daily. If you are under the sun for prolonged periods of time, sunscreen needs to be reapplied at least once every two hours.
