Bio Stimulators

A collagen stimulator that gradually addresses skin aging concerns  and improves skin quality for up to two years.

ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

Collagen Bio-Stimulators are a non-surgical injectable treatment that works by stimulating the production of collagen. By increasing the level of collagen in the tissues, the skin is supported structurally, improving sagging skin, hollowing in the face, fine superficial lines as well as deep wrinkles.

The recommended treatment regime is 2-3 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart. Apart from bruising and some localised swelling there is no expected downtime.

Collagen Bio-Stimulators is perfect for those who like gradual and natural results. Clients with global volume loss in the face from an active lifestyle, significant weight loss or genetics will particularly benefit from this treatment.

Unlike volumising products, results are gradual and last up to 2 years

  • Stimulates natural collagen production:  encourages your body to produce its own collagen, gradually improving skin structure, firmness, and elasticity.
  • Restores Facial hollowing
  • Long-Lasting Results: Results develop gradually and can last up to two years or more.
  • Natural-Looking Improvements: Works by stimulating your own collagen, the enhancements appear subtle and natural, avoiding the “overfilled” look.
  • Improves Skin Quality : Many patients experience enhanced skin texture, tone, and a visual change due to increased collagen and hydration.
  • Non-Surgical and Minimally Invasive: The procedure involves a series of injections with minimal downtime, allowing most people to resume normal activities quickly.
How soon will I see results?
Initial swelling may create a temporary improvement for the first 24–48 hours, but true results develop gradually over 1–3 months as new collagen forms.
Administered into targeted areas. Particles stimulate fibroblasts to produce new collagen over several weeks, gradually improving volume and skin quality.
Most people require a series of 2–4 sessions, spaced about 4–6 weeks apart, to achieve optimal results.
Common treatment areas include the mid face, neck and hands
How long do the effects last? It may last up to two years or more, with some reports of longer duration depending on individual response and maintenance. Patients are usually advised to massage the treated areas several times a day for five days after each session to help distribute the product evenly and reduce the risk of lump formation.

  • Avoid alcohol and fatty fish for 24–48 hours prior to your appointment, as these can also increase bruising risk.

Medical Considerations:

  • Do not schedule procedures if you have had any illness, infection, dental work, or immunizations within the past 2–4 weeks; these can increase the risk of complications or immune reactions.

  • Make sure you do not plan to travel within 48 hours after your treatment, as follow-up care may be needed.
  • Plan to arrive 30 minutes early if topical numbing cream will be applied.

Additional Tips:

  • Consider taking Arnica or bromelain supplements a few days before your appointment to help reduce bruising and swelling, if approved by your provider.

  • Massage treated area(s) at home with the 5 x 5 x 5 rule: 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for five days.
  • Needle entry points, redness, bruising, swelling and asymmetry around injection sites immediately after treatment is normal due to the very nature of the treatment.
  • There may also be some tenderness present as the bruising and inflammation sets in. These symptoms will resolve over the next 2-7 days, depending on your individual response to the treatment.

It may take a full 4 weeks for all swelling to settle; until this time we cannot re-treat.
