Plasma Pen fibroblast pre and post care

In order to obtain the best result from your treatment, please take note of the following after care notes for each treatment type.

  • Avoid Sun Exposure: No sun tanning, tanning beds, spray tans, or self-tanning products for 2–4 weeks before treatment. Use SPF 30+ daily on the area to be treated.
  • Discontinue Active Skincare: Stop using retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, and other exfoliating or resurfacing products at least 1-2 weeks prior.
  • No Recent Procedures: Avoid antiwrinkle for 5 days, fillers, microneedling, or PRP for 21 days, and chemical peels for 30 days before treatment.
  • No Hair Removal: Do not wax, pluck, use depilatory creams, or undergo electrolysis on the area for 2 weeks before treatment.
  • Remove Eyelash Extensions/Contacts: If treating the eye area, remove eyelash extensions and contact lenses before your appointment.
  • Healthy Skin Only: Do not proceed if you have sunburn, active breakouts, or skin irritation in the treatment area.
  • Supplements: Consider taking Vitamin C and collagen supplements 2 weeks prior to support healing and collagen production.
  • Arrive with Clean Skin: No makeup, creams, lotions, or sunscreen on the treatment area on the day of your appointment.
  • Medical Disclosure: Inform your provider of any medical conditions, medications, or history of hyperpigmentation or keloid scarring
  • Keep Area Clean and Dry: Use a gentle, unscented cleanser. Pat dry and avoid getting the area wet except for gentle cleansing.
  • No Picking or Scrubbing: Do not pick, scratch, or exfoliate the carbon crusts/scabs; allow them to fall off naturally to prevent scarring.
  • Avoid Makeup: Do not apply makeup until the area is fully healed (usually 7–10 days). Mineral makeup may be used after 48 hours with a clean brush if necessary.
  • No Sun Exposure: Continue to avoid sun exposure and use SPF 30+ daily after healing to prevent hyperpigmentation.
  • No Heat or Sweating: Avoid hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and strenuous exercise for at least 3–4 days post-treatment.
  • No Anti-Inflammatories: Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, and steroids for at least one week before and after treatment, as inflammation is part of the healing process. Paracetamol (Tylenol) is acceptable for discomfort.
  • Swelling and Discomfort: Mild swelling, redness, and a stinging sensation are normal and may last several days. Sleep with your head elevated and on your back to reduce swelling, especially for facial treatments.
  • Moisturise and Protect: Use recommended post-care products such as colloidal silver, aloe vera, or Aquaphor to soothe and protect the area.
  • Monitor for Infection: Watch for signs of infection (increased redness, pus, or fever) and contact your provider if these occur.
  • Healing Time: Full healing typically takes 7–10 days, with continued collagen production and skin tightening for several weeks to months
What is the benefit of plasma fibroblast therapy?
Plasma fibroblast therapy is a nonsurgical treatment that can be used to treat -Photo ageing including age spots and seborrheic keratosis -Wrinkled skin, including the eyelids, neck, upper lip and abdomen.
Does it hurt?
Numbing cream in applied to increase comfort. Swelling can last 3-4 days and redness will continue to subside over 4-8weeks.
Who is it for?
For peoples with skin conditions such as skin laxity and stretch marks.
When will i see results?
You can see minimum results after 4-8 weeks. Optimal results are visible in 6 months. Additional treatments may be required to reach the desired outcome.
When is Plasma fibroblast treatment not suitable?
Within 2-4 weeks of sun exposure Within 2 weeks of wrinkle reducing therapy. During pregnacy and breast feeding Active herpes Fitzpatrick skin type 4 and above.
