Lifestyle Adjustments – Stop smoking 1 week before treatment to support healing – Avoid alcohol and caffeine 24–48 hours pre-procedure to reduce bruising Skin Preparation – Discontinue retinoids, exfoliants, or irritating skincare products 2–3 days beforehand – Arrive with a clean face—no makeup, creams, or skincare products on the day Medical Considerations – Inform your provider of allergies, cold sore history (antiviral medication may be prescribed), or blood-thinning prescriptions – Schedule the procedure at least 3 weeks before major events to allow recovery time.
